2020 Westfalen Dressage Stallions Licensed in Münster

The first two licensing days of the Westphalian main licensing 2020 have ended. The focus of the first two days was on the dressage stallions. From the high quality Lot 31 stallions were licensed and 10 were awarded a premium title.
The Westphalian main licensing started with the dressage stallions. On the newly designed triangular track of the Westphalian Horse Center the stallions presented themselves in top form on Sunday afternoon. This was followed by the presentation of the licensing candidates on the lunge. On the second day the event started with the free running.
Son of Fair Game becomes champion stallion
The licensing commission liked the head number 18 best. The Fair Game/Destano son was bred by Konrad Mensch, Erolheim. The shining black was eyhibited by Joachim Scherer from Neunkirchen- Seelscheid. “”A stallion as perfect as one could hardly wish for,”” said the provisional Breeding Director Thomas Münch. In addition to numerous licensed stallions, the dam line also produced successful sport horses up to the advanced level dressage compeitions. The expressive black stallion was able to convince in all parts with his correct conformation as well as his expansive and elastic movements.
The 1st Reserve Champion of the dressage stallions is the Diamond Deluxe/Lissaro son with head number 14 (breeder and exhibitor by Wilhelm Rüscher-Konermann, Greven). The beautifully presented bay stallion impressed the licensing commission on both days. Two 2nd reserve champions were nominated by the licensing committee. One of them with head number 1 is an Asgard’s Ibiza son (breeder and ehibitor by Alfons Baumann, Rees), whose dam St.Pr.St. Diva by Davignon was on the final ring of the Westphalian Elite Show 2000. And secondly the head number 15, a son of Don Allegro/Belissimo M bred by Ewald Descher, Rietberg-Bokel and exhibited by Mathieu Beckmann, Wettringen. Of the stallions presented, 31 received a positive approval, 10 of them were awarded a premium. The most successful stallion sire with five licensed stallions, two of which were awarded a premium, from the State Stud Stallion and Reserve Dressage Champion of the Westphalian Main Licensing of 2016, Zoom.
